Police said that rubble from a stone mine fell on five workers in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan on Wednesday, and the other two are probably dead. The incident occurred in the village of Lachuda, located below the Asind Police Station. Seven people, including three women, were buried under rubble.
Five lashes were removed, including two women. Bhilwara collector Shivprasad Nakate Madan said that there are probably two more dead. He said illegal mining took place at the site where the incident occurred. He added that a few days ago, four people were arrested for illegally using mining machinery.
