Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the foundation laying ceremony of Noida Airport. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Noida International Airport will develop tourism and agriculture sector of UP. He further said that pilgrims from all over the nation will be able to to travel the temples and shrines in the state. “The agricultural potential of western UP will witness a sharp rise and help the small farmers in exporting goods easily, efficiently and instantly,” Modi said.
“The Noida Int. Airport will become the logistic gateway of North India. It will act as one of the pillars of National Gati-Shakti Master Plan,” Modi added. The PM also laid the foundation stone for Noida International Airport in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar today. “Tourism of land locked states like UP will greatly benefit from the NIA. Now pilgrims will be able to easily travel to the temples and shrines in UP,” PM Modi added.

At the event CM Yogi Adityanath slammed SP’s leader Akhilesh Yadav. He called Yadav “a Jinnah follower” and alleged that his government incited a series of riots in the state. “Some people caused a series of riots here. Today, the country has to decide whether it wants to give new wings to the sweetness of sugarcane or let Jinnah’s followers incite voilance in wetern UP,” Yogi said.
“Noida International Airport will be a multi-modal connectivity hub and will bring in investment worth ₹60,000 crores to UP. It will create employment opportunities for more than 1 lakh people. Soon we will see 17 airports, including an international airport at Ayodhya…,” Scindia said. Furthermore, both Jyotiraditya M Scindia and CM Adityanth thanked PM Modi for the NIA.
