Mumbai: Two villas in Nashik in Maharashtra were invaded in the early hours of Sunday and 22 individuals, including some linked to the entertainment profession, were held, while drugs and hookah were caught, police said.
The raids were held on two villas in Igatpuri, some 120 kilometres from Mumbai, on the ground of a tip-off, Nashik Rural Superintendent of Police Sachin Patil told PTI.
“We have caught 12 women and 10 men in the raids. One of the women is a Bigg Boss participant, while some others are connected to the film profession. They have all been sent for medical scrutiny. We are also looking for individuals who assisted in setting up this party, where many came in high-end cars,” he said.
They have been accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and further investigation into the network is processed, the SP added.
