Prithvi Shaw’s ‘Lagaan Ke Bhaiyon’ Remark As DC Indians Take On Overseas Stars

Posted on April 26, 2024 By admin

Delhi Capitals (DC) players were seen enjoying a session of football ahead of their IPL 2024 match against the Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday. The mood in DC’s camp looked light as the Indian players took on the overseas stars over a game of football. Star opening batter Prithvi Shaw was in a jovial mood and caught everyone’s attention with his hilarious commentary. As the Indian players were struggling against the overseas stars, Shaw called his teammates ‘Mere Lagaan ke bhaiyon’ in reference to Aamir Khan‘s blockbuster movie ‘Lagaan’.

“Khaane ko roti nahi milega, pehen ne ko kapda nahi hoga,” Shaw was heard as saying in a video uploaded by DC.
