The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath takes a jibe at Congress party in an event at Kushinagar on Sunday. He said that Congress is the mother of terrorism in this country and accused the party of insulting people’s faith in Lord Ram.
Yogi Adityanath said in the event, “Congress is the mother of terrorism in the country. There is no need to tolerate people who hurt the country. Congress gives disease, insult faith in Lord Ram and gives shelter to the mafia. But the BJP heals the citizens, paves the way for the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram and sends the mafia to the place they deserve. If there is BJP, there is respect for everyone, there is respect for faith,”.
The BJP and Congress are the two major national parties of India. The INC(Indian National Congress) is the leading opposition party, and BJP is the party currently in power. Leaders from both the parties are often seen chastising each other. Yogi Adityanath’s speech at Kushinagar event is a prime example of this.
The incumbent CM slammed INC for appeasement politics and corruption. “People of the state should not tolerate pro-Taliban, casteist, dynastic mentality that shot at the devotees of Lord Ram. Remember! Wherever there is scorpion, it will bite,” Yogi Adityanath said at the event.
Beef between the INC and BJP:
The beef between Indian National Congress and BJP has been consistent since the 2014 General Elections. Which the latter won by a significant margin, making Congress the head of opposition.
Rahul Gandhi, the current President of INC, has never backed down from taking a jibe at the PM or other significant BJP leaders, and the members of BJP have always returned the favor. Yogi Adityanath’s speech at Kushinagar event proves the above statement.
