New Delhi: According to sources, Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha may turn to join Mamata Banerjee in the next few days and join her Trinamool Congress Party.
According to sources, Sinha prefers the Trinamool conference because he humiliated the Saffron Party in the recent West Bengal parliamentary elections, and his supreme leader Mamata Banerjee became a powerful rival of the prime minister in the 2024 general election. The source said: “Shatrughan Sinha may switch to the role of Trinamool to celebrate the Martyrs’ Day on July 21.”
Recently, when Sinha was asked by PTI about his possibility of joining the Trinamool conference, he declined to comment directly, saying: “Politics is an art of possibility.” However, sources close to him did not deny this opportunity. .
Some TMC leaders also stated in Kolkata that negotiations in this regard have entered an advanced stage. The TMC leader stated that the political actor has maintained a good relationship with the Chief Minister of Bengal, Mamata Banerjee.
Sinha, commonly known as “Bihari Babu”, praised Mamata Banerjee, calling her “a true royal Bengal tiger” and “a proven leader, defeating propaganda and” dhanshakti “in recently concluded Bengal polls (Power of money).
Former Sinha A colleague in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s department, Yashwant Sinha, is now the national vice president of TMC. Sinha, a member of the BJP from Patna Sahib, who served two terms in Congress and served from the same constituency in the 2019 election competition, but lost to the former union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, although Congress did not give any major responsibility to the politically renowned Sinha.
Mamata Banerjee, who became a strong competitor to Modi in the 2024 Lok Sabha poll, made it clear that her party will play a bigger role outside of West Bengal. In the plan, like Yashwant Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha, people can be important to the party.
There are indications that Shatrughan Sinha may be sent to the upper house of parliament from one of the two TMC seats.
Sinha withdrew from the BJP after a lengthy speech to Modi and Federal Interior Minister Amit Shah, saying that the Saffron Party had become “a party of one person and an army of two.” He recently posted a tweet saying that in addition to Three Differences there is a fourth variant of COVID, where people feel “dukhi” (unhappy) towards Modi for no reason. This is seen in politics as an effort to get closer to his mother party to return to the country.
A Bollywood folk hero, Shatrughan Sinha joined the BJP in the early 1980s when it was a party made up of two deputies and served as its star candidate for a long time in the Atal Advani era. However, he had a disagreement with the current leadership of Modisha’s Saffron party and eventually left it and joined Congress before the last elections.
