New Delhi: The Sabarimala temple management on Saturday (July 10, 2021) briefed that the temple will unlock its gate for the worshippers for its monthly puja from July 17 to 21. The determination to permit the entry of devotees in the temple premises, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, comes with many limitations.
The temple authorities mentioned that the people will be required to strictly obey to COVID-19 safety protocol and curbs to prevent the multiplication of the virus.

– Only those individuals will be granted entry to enter the temple who will exhibit either a complete COVID vaccination certificate or RT PCR negative report, issued within 48 hrs.
– People will also be required to book their slot on the online booking system and not over 5,000 devotees will be allowed to attend.
Meanwhile, per the PTI report, Kerala on Saturday enlisted 14,087 fresh COVID-19 cases, enhancing the virus caseload to 30,53,116, while 109 more deceased took the toll to 14,489. More than 11,867 victims have been healed from the infection, taking the total recuperation to 29,22,921 and the number of active cases in the state now reaches 1,15,226, a state government article stated.
