New Delhi: PM Modi unveiled “Rudraksh” a state-of-the-art center on Thursday, which he said will make Varanasi, his parliamentary district, an attractive meeting destination and attract tourists. The international cooperation and conference center named “Rudraksh” will give you a glimpse of the cultural heritage of the ancient city.
As many as 108 Rudraksha have been installed in the center, with ceilings imitating Shiva Linga, the authorities said, adding that the building is powered by LED lights.

Located in the elegant Sigra area, this two-story building covers an area of 2.87 hectares and can accommodate 1,200 people.
The officials said that the goal is to provide opportunities for people to interact socially and culturally at the International Conference Center. They said that this will enhance the city’s competitiveness by developing tourism.
It is an ideal place for holding international conferences, exhibitions and concerts. They added that the gallery displayed murals depicting Varanasi’s art, culture and music.
The conference center built with the help of the Japan International Cooperation Agency can be divided into smaller spaces when necessary.
The center is an environmentally friendly building equipped with adequate safety and protection systems.
It has a general entrance, service entrance and independent VIP entrance, which is an ideal place for holding various international events. The official added that
PM Modi will also unveil and lay the foundation for multiple development projects worth more than Rs 1500 crores.
