President Ram Nath will be the first President to pay reverence to Ram in Ayodhya. He will also be paying his respects and pray at the Ram temple during his four-day tour to the state. His journey is dated to begin on Thursday. His schedule will include attending inaugural ceremonies.
The focal point of the tour will be a journey to Ayodhya from Lucknow on an exclusive train.
First day of the trip : President Kovind is slated to attend the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University’ ninth assembly, located in Lucknow.
Second day: President Kovind uncover the statue of former UP CM. Dr Sampurnanand.
He will also inaugurate an auditorium at the Captain Manoj Pandey Sainik School in Lucknow. The President, is also set to attend Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences’s(SGPGIMS) 26th convocation assembly.
Third Day: Kovind will establish the Ayush University and initiate Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath University , Gorakhpur.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT: “He will launch various projects of the state government’s department of culture and tourism, including renovation and construction of Tulsi Smarak Bhavan and the development of a bus stand in the city. The President is also expected to visit the site where the Ram temple is coming up in Ayodhya. He will also perform pooja at the site,” an official informed in his statement.
