A Pakistani national captured by the police from Delhi’s Lakshmi Nagar on Monday night. He charged for criminal conspiracy after the police detected that he was living with a fake ID and possessing weapons.
Identified as Mohammad Ashraf Ali, accused under Section 120B of the IPC and captured around 9:20 pm on Monday night. The Delhi police stated he was a resident of Kotli village of the Narowal province in Punjab.
The man captured from Ramesh Park and detected living with a fake ID stating an Indian national named Ali Ahmed Noori. This ID mentioned he was a resident of Delhi’s Shastri Nagar. The police revealed that he possessed Indian identity cards through forged documents.
The Delhi police also seized Indian IDs from a handbag and two mobile phones.
The Delhi police recovered one AK-47 assault rifle with one extra magazine and 60 rounds. Also seized one hand grenade, two sophisticated pistols with 50 rounds. Police recovered all these from Yamuna Ghat in Kalindi Kunj in Delhi at the instance of the accused.
The man have another hideout at Turkman Gate where the cops discovered one Indian passport.
The accused charged under the UAPA, Explosive Act, Arms Act, and other provisions invoked against him.
A search conducted at his present address in Ramesh Park in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi
The Delhi police is performing further investigations in the matter.
