New Delhi: According to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday morning (August 3, 2021), the number of daily COVID19 cases in India has extremely decreased and 30,549 new infections have been detailed. The Health Ministry also revealed that the country has detailed 422 coronavirus-related deaths and 38,887 recoveries in the last 24 hours. As a result, the total number of cases has escalated to 3,17,26,507, and the mortality toll is 4,25,195,
India’s active coronavirus count has now dropped to 4,04,958, compared to 4,13,718,444. of Monday.
It should be noted that India recorded over 40,000 new cases in the last six straight days. On Monday, the country logged 40,134 new infections.
India had less than 30,000 new COVID19 cases on July 27, which was the lowest hike in a single day after 132 days, but the number of cases on July 28 was 43,654, the highest in three weeks.
To date, the country has executed 47.12 million trials and the current positive weekly rate is 2.39%, while the positive daily rate is 1.85%.
Meanwhile, a total of 4.785 million doses of the COVID19 vaccine have been vaccinated throughout the country, of which more than 6.109 million doses have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
