New Delhi: The Federal Ministry of Health of India detailed on Thursday (July 15, 2021) that India has logged 41,806 new COVID19 cases and 581 deaths in the past 24 hours. The number of active coronavirus cases in India has now surged to 4,32,041.
The total number of coronavirus cases in India has now hiked to 3,09,87,880, of which 4,11,989 have died from the infection. A total of 3,01,43,850 people in the country improved from the COVID19 infection, of which 39,130 healed from the virus on Thursday.
The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) stated on Thursday that a total of 438,011,958 units have been analyzed so far for Covid19 disease, of which 1,943,488 samples have been analyzed in the last 24 hours.
In addition, the Federal Ministry of the Interior stated in a letter to all federal states and territories on Wednesday (July 14, 2021) that flagrant violations of COVID19 have occurred in various parts of the country (including mountain stations) and requested the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
This letter was signed by Ajay Bhalla, the Federal Minister of the Interior. Bhalla said in the letter that behaviors cherished by COVID are not respected in public places because large numbers of people crowd the market and violate social distancing rules. Bhalla emphasized that the “R” factor (number of breedings) has increased in some states, saying that this is a worrying issue.
