NEW DELHI: India detailed 41,965 new cases of COVID-19 viruses. Additionally, the country also recorded 460 deaths.
33,964 cases recuperated in the past 24 hours. With this, India’s total COVID-19 tally climbed 3,28,10,845, and there are 3,78,181 active cases presently.
India observed 3,19,93,644 cases of improvement from contamination that resulted in the death of 4,39,020 people in India.
With 30,941 people with positive coronavirus, India’s total tally of COVID-19 cases soared to 3,27,68,880.
The active cases dropped to 3,70,640 on Tuesday.
The casualty toll reached 4,38,560 with 350 new fatalities. India’s COVID-19 tally had surpassed the 20-lakh mark on August 7, 2020. 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5 and 50 lakh on September 16.
It crossed 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, crossed 80 lakh on October 29. It surpassed 90 lakh on November 20 and the one-crore mark on December 19. India crossed the grim milestone of two crore on May 4 and three crore on June 23.
India administered over 1 crore COVID-19 antibody doses.
Last week, India had administered over 1 crore (1,08,83,963) vaccine doses. India`s COVID vaccination coverage has now went past 65 crore (65,12,14,767) doses.
India took 85 days to reach 10 crore. It then took 45 days to surpass the 20-crore mark and 29 more days to climb 30 crore. The country took 24 days to touch 40 crore and then 20 more days to surpass 50 crore vaccinations on August 6. It took 19 more days to exceed the 60-crore mark on August 25.
