NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday detailed 31,222 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Throughout this period,India detailed 290 casualties, taking the total toll to 441,042.
Currently, there are 3,92,864 active cases and the country’s overall COVID-19 caseload has climbed to3,30,58,843. Single-day hike of 31,222 COVID-19 cases, 290 mortalities push contamination tally to 3,30,58,843, mortality toll to 4,41,042.
31,222 fresh cases and 290 demises recorded in India in the preceding 24 hours. Kerala reported 19,688 cases and 135 deaths.
The death toll reached at 1.33 per cent. The active cases have dropped to 3,92,864 comprising 1.19 per cent of the total contamination. COVID-19 recuperation rate climbed 97.48 per cent.
India detailed 38,948 new COVID-19 cases and 219 deceased in the last 24 hours, pushing the overall caseload to 3,30,27,621 and total mortality toll to 4,40,752.
India also recorded 43,903 recuperation in the last 24 hours, pushing total improvement to 3,21,81,995 and the active caseload reached 4,04,874. The recuperation rate is 97.44 percent. The weekly positivity rate of 2.58 percent is lower than the 3 percent mark for the last 73 days.
India administered over 1 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses for the third time in the last 11 days. The country’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has now exceeded 69.68 crores. 92 lakh Doses administered.
India’s COVID-19 tally surpassed the 20-lakh mark on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5 and 50 lakh on September 16. It crossed 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11. Crossed 80 lakh on October 29, 90 lakh on November 20 and surpassed the one-crore mark on December 19.
India passed the grim milestone of two crore on May 4 and three crore on June 23.
