India enlisted 21,257 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare mentioned.
With 271 casualties, the death toll reached 4,50,127. While the active caseload climbed to 2,40,221, the lowest in 205 days. There has been a drop of 3,977 cases in the active caseload in the last 24 hours.
India’s total contamination escalated to 3,39,15,569. India observed a daily spike in cases below 30,000 for 14 consecutive days. The improvement rate is now at 97.96 per cent, the highest since March 2020.
India had detailed 22,431 new COVID-19 cases and 318 mortilities on Thursday.
Over 13,85,706 trials done. The total number of trials performed so far for detection of COVID-19 in the country is 58,00,43,190.
The daily positivity rate, less than three percent for the last 39 days, reported at 1.53 percent. The weekly positivity rate recorded 1.64 percent. Below three percent for the last 105 days, according to the ministry.
The number of individuals recuperated from the COVID-19 infection soared to 3,32,25,221. The case fatality rate detailed at 1.33 percent.
Meanwhile, 93.17 crore antibodies have administered so far under the vaccination campaign. Over 8.22 crore doses are still handy with States/UTs to monitored.
