India cracked the 1 Cr mark in coronavirus immunization. The fifth time India achieved this feat. The cumulative number of antibodies administered has surpassed 86 crore.
Previously, India crossed the 1 Cr mark on PM Modi’s birthday when a massive two crore jabs were administered.

On the 71st birthday of PM Modi on September 17, India had cracked all records by monitoring over 2.5 crore antibodies.
Meanwhile, Karnataka had topped the ongoing vaccination drive with over 26.9 lakh doses that day.
India governed 1 Cr antibodies on August 27 initially. As a result, 10,064,032 individuals receiving the jabs. Meanwhile, UP had at the time administered the maximum doses, over 28 lakh individuals jabbed. India, on August 31, vaccinated more than 1.33 crore individuals against Covid-19. For the third time, India administered over 1.13 crore vaccines on September 6. Bringing the total immunisation number almost 70 crore at the time.
UP is among the states leading the immunization drive and on Monday. It administered over 34 lakh doses making it the most ever single-day vaccine coverage for the state.
The Centre has fixed a target for administering over 2.5 crore vaccine doses per day. The countrywide immunization drive was exercised on January 16 with healthcare workers getting inoculated in the first phase.
