As the country continues to struggle with the COVID19 pandemic, Haridwar will only have a symbolic “snan” on the occasion of Guru Purnima on July 24. According to the ANI report, Haridwar Regional Authority stated that if worshippers produce a negative RTPCR report of no more than 72 hours, they will be granted to Haridwar but not allowed to enter “snan”.
“Considering the Covid19 pandemic and the possible third wave of epidemics, Haridwar will hold a symbolic snan” on the occasion of Guru Purnima on July 24. Only ‘Shri Ganga Sabha’ and’Teerth Purohit’ will participate in the snan, “According to ANI, the Haridwar regional government said on Saturday.
