Four civilians were harmed in a grenade attack by terrorists on a joint patrol party of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) squad at Barbar Shah in Srinagar on Saturday.
As per the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the happening occurred at around 6 pm in the evening.
“The grenade failed the intended target and blasted on road. In this mishap, four civilians got harmed and were evacuated to a nearby hospital for the medicament of their wounds,” the police said.
A case has been enlisted in the issue under relevant sections of the law, it said.
The location has been cordoned and hunting in the area is ongoing. The probe into the matter is processing.
