Security at three prominent railway stations in Mumbai and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow has been fortified after the police received an incognito call about bombs being stationed at these locations, an official has stated. However, nothing suspicious has been detected during the hunt so far, he said.
Mumbai cop’s key control room received the call on Friday night, in which the caller told that bombs have been positioned at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Byculla, Dadar railway stations and at actor Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow in Juhu, the police official said.
“After receiving the call, the Government Railway Police, Railway Protection Force along with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, dog squads and local police officers ran to these locations and performed a search operation,” he said.
“Nothing dubious has been detected so far at these sites, but heavy police fielding has been put in place there,” he said, adding that further probe is on.
