After Prime Minister Modi and CM Yogi’s contemptuous remarks on Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav, the latter hits back at BJP. PM Modi, while addressing the foundation laying ceremony of Noida Int Airport, said that the previous government gave false hope to UP. “Uttar Pradesh was shown false dreams by the previous governments and they kept it in deprivation and darkness. The previous government of UP wrote a letter to the Centre and said that the project of this airport should be shelved,” PM Modi said.
Moreover, the incumbent CM of UP Yogi Adityanath branded Akhilesh Yadav as a “Jinnah follower”. He also alleged that SP government incited riots in Western UP.(read: BJP leaders at Noida Airport foundation laying ceremony.)
Hitting back at BJP, Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the BJP government at Centre stopped Firozabad airport proposal. At that time, Samajwadi Party’s government was there in UP. “Only SP government can give a new flight to the development of UP” Yadav tweeted.
Furthermore, UP CM Yogi Adityanath took a swipe at SP leader Akhilesh Yadav weeks ago. “I was listening to SP President Akhilesh Yadav’s statement. He was comparing Jinnah, who divided the country, with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who worked towards uniting the country. This is extremely shameful…,” Yogi said.
“The whole society and state should condemn this. SP national president should apologize to the people of the country. The country cannot accept the insult of the creator of India’s integrity,” he further added said. Moreover, the upcoming Assembly election has intensified their seemingly never-ending rivalry even more. Stay tuned with Artifex.news for further updates.
