IPL: Teams Spend Rs 639.15 Crore; Pant Most Expensive, Suryavanshi Youngest

IPL 2025 Auction Highlights: The IPL 2025 mega auction has come to an end. The 10 franchises spent a whopping Rs 639.15 crore on 182 players over two days. Rishabh Pant (Rs 27 crore, LSG), Shreyas Iyer (Rs 26.75 crore, PBKS) and Venkatesh Iyer (Rs 23.75 crore, KKR) were the three most expensive buys. 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest to be picked in IPL auction with RR roping him in for Rs 1.10 crore. Yuzvendra Chahal (Rs 18 crore, PBKS) became the most expensive Indian spinner.

On Day 2 of the auction, Indian pacers took the limelight. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (RCB, Rs 10.75 crore), Akash Deep (LSG, Rs 8 crore), Deepak Chahar (MI, Rs 9.25 crore), Mukesh Kumar (DC, Rs 8 crore), Tushar Deshpande (RR, Rs 6.50 crore) all went for high prices. (List Of Sold And Unsold Players)
