Joe Biden is invited to visit India by PM Modi. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sep 24, said that PM Modi has invited Joe Biden to visit India. The MEA said that New Delhi anticipates the visit of the US leader at the earliest and mutual convenience.
In a statement, Harsh Vardhan said that PM Modi invited President Joe Biden to visit India. President Joe Biden accepted with thanks and appreciation. We certainly anticipate the visit of the US President at the earliest and mutual convenience.
Modi is now in the US and held his maiden bilateral meeting with Biden and attended the Quad leaders Summit.
PM Modi also praised US Vice President Kamala Harris as an aspirant. Modi extended an invitation to her to visit the country.
PM Modi praised VP Harris for her role as Vp of USA has been a significant and historic event. He addresses Harris as an aspirant for many across the world. He also admired her leadership under Joe Biden which will escalate the bilateral relations to a new height.
“Continuing on this journey of success, Indians would also want you to implement that in India. Therefore they are waiting to welcome you. I extend you an invitation to visit India,” he added.
PM Modi also proposed a common international travelling protocol involving mutual recognition of the COVID19 (vaccination) certificate. It was well-received by all Quad leaders: Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla.
