Taliban prohibits female employees from entering Ministry.

Posted on September 17, 2021September 17, 2021 By Anandarupa De

Taliban prohibits female employees from entering the Ministry of Women Affairs in Kabul. Males entered the building without hesitation. Four women couldn’t enter. The women intend to protest the move near the ministry.

Taliban took control of Afghanistan once again after 20 years. Meanwhile experts believe that Afghan women are most likely to face an uncertain future under the terrorist group regime.
Previous generations remember the conservative Islamic regime. Regular stoning, amputations and public executions were a norm.

The US has completed the withdrawal of its troops from Afghanistan, ending one of its longest wars.
As the US troops withdrew from the country, the Taliban regained power.

Taliban had assured that they are committed to providing women with rights.
There will be no discrimination against women,” said Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid.
After coming to power last month, the group took a u-turn. This was with respect to women’s rights in Afghanistan and announced a ban on coeducation.
