In a remarkable event, a drone was located in the residential zone of the Indian high commission in Islamabad.
The Indian government has increased security concerns with Islamabad regarding the occasion. According to information, this is the first time such an event involving a drone being noticed inside the Indian commission in Pakistan has happened.
Sources briefed CNN-News18 that the drone was located inside the mission when an event, Bollywood night, was in progress.
In a separate occasion, Border Security Force (BSF) warriors fired at a small hexacopter belonging to Pakistan on Friday morning at about 0425 hrs as it was endeavoring to cross the international boundary in the Arnia sector. Due to this firing, it recouped back promptly. It was meant for accomplishing surveillance of the region, according to an official statement from BSF.
In order to judge the situation, the Minister of State Home, will meet IG BSF in Jammu where Reddy will be notified of the current situation.
Meanwhile, with the discreditable attack on the Indian Air Force base in Jammu, drones have once again come to the forefront. It is not a matter that is new by any means. Indeed, the government has been aggressively working on India’s commercial drone policy for a while. The Drone Ecosystem Policy Roadmap was issued in 2019 and it was put out for comments in 2020. The policy was effective after being published in the official gazette in 2021. The policy is protesting as it involves laying norms for a fast-evolving drone landscape and ventures to address frontier issues that are likely to appear.
