Oliver (Canada): A 4.0 magnitude tremor has hit British Columbia.
Earthquakes Canada mentions the tremor hit South Okanagan, about 24 miles (40 km) south of Penticton, British Columbia, closer to the town of Oliver yesterday.
The tremor was lightly sensed across the region from Bridesville in the east and as far north as Lake Country.
Earthquakes Canada mentions there have been no details of damages and none would be expected.
The last detailed earthquake above a 4.0 magnitude in the province was provoked on May 8, south of the Village of Queen Charlotte.
