4th T20I: Samson-Tilak Guide India To 3-1 Series Win Over South Africa

India vs South Africa 4th T20I Highlights: Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma starred with their respective centuries and a record partnership for the second wicket as India outplayed South Africa by 135 runs in the fourth and final T20I at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. With the win, India sealed the series 3-1. Visiting captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bat first against the Proteas. India’s innings was all about Tilak and Samson. The duo slammed 120 not out off 47 balls and 109 not out off 56 balls, respectively, while also putting a record second wicket partnership of 210 runs off 86 balls. Samson became the first-ever batter in T20I cricket to slam three centuries in a calendar year. The innings saw several other records being made. In the chase of a mammoth 284, the Proteas were bundled out for 148 in 18.2 overs, thanks to Arshdeep Singh’s 3 for 20. (Scorecard)
