“Had These Boys Batted First…”: Sachin Tendulkar’s Huge ‘300’ Remark On Sunrisers Hyderabad Goes Viral

Posted on May 9, 2024 By admin

Sunrisers Hyderabad once again showed their true potential and comfortably defeated Lucknow Super Giants in their IPL 2024 match on Wednesday. SRH, who have been entertaining the crowd with some powerful batting performances this season, repeated their heroics and chased down the target of 166 in just 9.4 overs against KL Rahul and co. The Hyderabad-based franchise had the support of their explosive openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, who played fearless cricket and took their side home without losing any wicket.

This magnificent victory by SRH left everyone stunned as many cricket experts and fans applauded the duo of Head and Sharma for their performance. India batting legend Sachin Tendulkar also took to X (formerly Twitter) and called their partnership “destructive”.

“A destructive opening partnership would be an understatement tonight. Had these boys batted first, they would’ve scored 300!”, wrote Sachin on X.

After the end of the match, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka was caught on camera having an animated conversation with skipper KL Rahul – something that has left the internet fuming.

Their opening partnership tonight was absolutely destructive, scoring potential 300.

Experts also weighed in on the topic on Jio Cinema with the opinion that such conversations should happen behind closed doors and these images are never helpful for any team.

Sir Travis Head’s and Abhishek Sharma’s batting today was like watching you bat on both sides.

“You always feel these conversations should be happening behind closed doors. There are so many cameras around the stadium and they miss nothing. You know KL Rahul is now gonna go to press conferences and other things and potentially explain what’s been discussed here,” an expert said on Jio Cinema.

“He has done well to keep his cool here. I think you are bang on,” Styris added.

With this victory, SRH have attained 14 points and taken the third spot in the points table. They pushed Chennai Super Kings down on the fourth place with 12 points.

This win by SRH resulted in the elimination of five-time champions Mumbai Indians as they have lost eight matches out of 12 and they can reach maximum to 12 points.
