In the ‘The Crowded Room’ series, actress Amanda Seyfried will appear alongside Tom Holland.
The ‘Mank’ actress ,Amanda Seyfried will star in the new anthology series, that will welcome Tom Holland back to Apple TV+,
where he previously worked with the Russo Brothers on the film “Cherry.”
Holland will star in “The Crowded Room” and will also act as an executive producer among others.
The Crowded Room will be directed by Kornél Mundruczó, who previously directed Pieces Of A Woman.
The actress Vanessa Kirby earned nomination for an Academy Award for her portrayal in Mundruczó’s 2020 film starring Shia LaBeouf.
Mundruczó has also received praise for his work as a director on films including Jupiter’s Moon, White God, and, most notably, Evolution.
She will reportedly play “a clinical psychologist facing the most hard case of her career,
while also balancing her life as a single mother” in “The Crowded Room.”
The Crowded Room , executive produced by Akiva Goldsman and written by him under his Weed Road Productions label.
Akiva Goldsman, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of “A Beautiful Mind,” is working in the series which is reportedly took inspiration by both his own life and Daniel Keyes’ nonfiction book “The Minds of Billy Milligan.”
The Crowded Room is based on both Goldman’s life and Daniel Keyes’ award-winning biography The Minds of Billy Milligan.
Seyfried is lauded for her roles in Mamma Mia, Jennifer’s Body, and Les Misérables.
Appearing most recently in David Fincher’s Mank, for which she scored a nomination for an Academy Award.
She’ll play Elizabeth Holmes, the original girlboss, in the Hulu limited series The Dropout, which follows the biotech entrepreneur/rise scammer’s and collapse.
