Kangana Ranaut declared about the directing duties for her forthcoming movie “Emergency.” Based on previous Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It was previously announced that director Sai Kabir, who worked with Ranaut for her 2014 movie “Revolver Rani”, will be steering the project.
Ranaut on Wednesday mentioned she will direct the biopic,no one can manage the project better than her.
“Delighted to wear director’s hat again, after working on ‘Emergency’ for over a year. I ultimately figured no one can direct it better than me, co-operating with amazing writer Ritesh Shah. Even if it means sacrificing on different acting assignments I am purposeful to do it,” she composed in a post on Koo app.
Ranaut had earlier believed in the director’s chair for her 2019 movie “Manikarnika”.
The film’s final cut had given the director glory to both Ranaut as well as Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi.
Apart from “Emergency”, Ranaut has a series of films in her career including “Thalaivi” “Dhaakad”, “Tejas.” The second sequel of “Manikarnika” franchise, titled “Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda”.
