Shah Rukh Khan’s son – NCB reported on 2nd October that it conducted a surprise raid. This was on an ongoing party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. This morning, reporters reached out to a senior official from NCB to confirm the development. Following this sources revealed that NCB detained Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.
The NCB official said, “An investigation is on him.”. Also a source close to the investigation revealed that NCB took Aryan for questioning. Nevertheless there was probably no involvement in the possession of drugs. CBI Another Bollywood actor’s son has been detained in the same case. Reporters are yet to get a confirmation on that.
Yesterday night reporters confirmed the news on Twitter with a post that read, “Maharashtra: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained at least 10 persons during a raid conducted at a party being held on a cruise in Mumbai. Details awaited, says the agency.”
Sources close to them also revealed that NCB due to investigation agency officials had gone through Aryan’s phone. This was to check for any indication of his direct involvement in the possession or consumption of drugs.
Aim of NCB
The Narcotics Control Bureau (abbr. NCB) is an Indian federal law enforcement and intelligence agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The agency’s task is to combat drug trafficking . This is along with the use of illegal substances under the provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Established in 1986, it is responsible for coordination with the Indian state governments and other central departments. It helps with implementation of India’s international obligations. This is with regard to drug trafficking, and assisting international and foreign drug law enforcement agencies. They have arrested Shah Rukh Khan’s son with regards to drugs.
