India had a brilliant run at the Asian Games 2023 on Wednesday with eight medals across disciplines including two gold medals in shooting. The Indian contingent will have more chances to add to their tally on Thursday (September 28) as Roshibina Devi takes part in Women’s 60 kg wushu final and Hriday Chheda as well as Anush Agarwalla compete in the individual Dressage – Intermediate discipline final in Equestrian. With 22 medals already won, India are realistically placed at a great spot to surpass their 2018 tally of 70 medals. Out of the seven medals in shooting, the gold medals came from Sift Kaur Samra (Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions) and Women’s 25m Pistol Team.
