Earthquake of 6.5 magnitude strikes Japan’s Hokkaido: EMSC

An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 struck the Hokkaido region in Japan on Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The quake was at a depth of 57 km, EMSC said.
