TN makes three changes to squad for Vidarbha fixture

TN makes three changes to squad for Vidarbha fixture

Posted on October 30, 2025 By admin

Tamil Nadu has made three changes to its Ranji Trophy squad for the third-round match against defending champion Vidarbha, beginning on Saturday in Coimbatore.

Left-arm pacer Gurjapneet Singh, who claimed a hat-trick against Nagaland in the previous round, has been rested after picking up a niggle in that game. All-rounder R.S. Ambrish and off-spinner J. Hemchudeshan too are not available as they have been called for under-19 preparations.

The selectors have named R. Sonu Yadav, S. Mohamed Ali, and T.D. Lokesh Raj as replacements in the 16-member squad.

TN has just three points after the first two rounds, courtesy the first-innings lead against Nagaland, while it lost to Jharkhand by an innings and 114 runs in the first game.
