Nittan India Tech Private Limited, the Indian arm of Japan’s Nittan Valve Company Limited, doubled its production capacity at its Sri City plant by inaugurating its expanded manufacturing facility on Friday (October 24, 2025).

The expansion adds a built-up area of 7,350 sq.m, equivalent to the existing 3.5 acre-footprint, bringing the total developed area to approximately seven acres. The additional investment of ₹41 crore brings the company’s cumulative investment in India to ₹257 crore, adding 100 new jobs to the region.

NIT Managing Director Young Oh Ko said that the doubling of its production facility would enable the company to double its output from the present 1 million to 2 million valves per month.

“It is a milestone, not the finish line. We will keep growing, ensuring NIT shines for decades,” he said.

Lee Tai Hwan, president and representative director of Nittan Corporation, described the expansion as a symbol of Nittan’s growing presence in India. He credited the achievement to the Indian team’s hard work and the rising market demand.

Hyundai Motor India vice-president Sunder, who attended as the chief guest, hailed the expansion as a testament to NIT’s commitment to quality. Sri City Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy, in a message, congratulated the NIT team for their journey since 2014, applauding their precision, collaboration and resilience.
