Haryana off-spinner Nikhil Kashyap picked up six for 80 against Mumbai on day one of their third-round match of the Buchi Babu tournament at the MRF-Pachaiyappa’s ground here on Tuesday.

For Mumbai, which finished at 346 for nine, Sarfaraz Khan struck his second century (111) of this edition. He added 117 for the fifth wicket with Hardik Tamore (39).

A 220-run second-wicket union between opener Arshin Kulkarni (146) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (133) helped Maharashtra pile up 440 against Himachal Pradesh at the TI-Murugappa ground. Left-arm spinner Prince Thakur finished with figures of seven for 144 for Himachal.

Opener and left-hander Shikhar Mohan top-scored with 105 as Jharkhand posted 366 for eight versus Punjab at the CPT-IP turf ground. Similarly, Rajesh Dhupar top-scored with 104 as Odisha made 314 against Jammu & Kashmir at the SSN College ground.

Left-arm spinner Shashank Tiwari’s five for 54 enabled Chhattisgarh dismiss TNCA President’s XI for 266 at the Gojan-A ground, while TNCA XI folded for 203 as Bengal off-spinner Rahul Prasad claimed five for 44 at Gojan-B.

Another off-spinner, Rohith Rayudu, took a five-wicket haul (five for 44) as Hyderabad bundled out Madhya Pradesh for 181 at the A.M. Jain College.

At TI-Murugappa: Maharashtra 440 in 90 overs (Arshin Kulkarni 146, Ruturaj Gaikwad 133, Harshal Kate 41, Prince Thakur 7/144) vs Himachal Pradesh; Toss: Maharashtra.

Group-B: At SSN: Odisha 314 in 87.5 overs (Govind Poddar 74, Rajesh Dhupar 104, Kartik Biswal 53, Vanshaj Sharma 4/90, Abid Mushtaq 4/95) vs Jammu & Kashmir; Toss: J&K.

At Guru Nanak: Railways 184 in 50 overs (Kush Marathe 52, Navneet Virk 76 n.o., Aryan Chavda 4/68) vs Baroda 76/3 in 38 overs; Toss: Railways.

Group-C: At Gojan-B: TNCA XI 203 in 61.4 overs (B. Sachin 57, R. Sonu Yadav 48, Rahul Prasad 5/44) vs Bengal 58/4 in 26 overs (D.T. Chandrasekar 3/25); Toss: TNCA XI.

At MRF-Pachaiyappa’s: Mumbai 346/9 in 90 overs (Divyaansh Saxena 46, Sarfaraz Khan 111, Shams Mulani 50 n.o., Tanush Kotian 48, Nikhil Kashyap 6/80) vs Haryana; Toss: Mumbai.
