Union Budget 2025: Schemes announced for farmers, middle class and students

Ms. Sitharaman set out four ‘engines’ that informed the Union Budget’s proposed schemes and initiatives. These are agriculture, MSMEs (or Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises), Investments and Exports. Under these categories, the Finance Minister laid out the government’s plans that focused on areas like sustainability, self-reliance, economic growth, employment and more.
