The Kerala Cabinet has approved a revision in the salaries of government pleaders at the High Court.
The salaries of government special pleader, senior government pleader and government pleader have been increased to â¹1,50,000, â¹1,40,000 and â¹1,25,000 respectively.
In addition to the salary hikes, arrears will be granted with retrospective effect from January 1, 2022.
The fees and allowances of Advocate General, Additional Advocates General, Director General of Prosecution, Additional Director General of Prosecution and the State Attorney will also be revised as follows: retainer fee: â¹2,50,000, allowance: â¹50,000, appearance fee before the Supreme Court: â¹60,000, appearance fee before the High Court Division Bench: â¹15,000, and appearance fee before the High Court Single Bench: â¹7,500.
