Telangana CM requests Bharat Ratna for former PM Manmohan Singh, proposes statue at Hyderabad’s Financial Dist

A resolution requesting Centre to confer Bharat Ratna on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was moved in Telangana Assembly on Monday (December 30, 2024).

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has moved a resolution requesting Centre to confer Bharat Ratna on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who passed away on Thursday (December 26, 2024).

The second meeting of the fourth session of the third Telangana Legislative Assembly was convened on Monday (December 30, 2024) to pay homage to the former Prime Minister.

 The Chief Minister also proposed to place a statue of Mr. Singh will be placed in the Financial District, Hyderabad and requested suggestions from the Legislative members for other places where people convene.

Mr. Reddy and other leaders from the State visited New Delhi on Friday (December 27, 2024) to pay tributes to the former Prime Minister and condolences to the family.
