Local Self-Government Minister M.B. Rajesh inaugurated the renovated P.J. Antony Memorial Cultural Centre on Sunday. The centre, built at a cost of ₹7.37 crore using CSML funds, honours the first Bharat awardee from south India and features a walkway, kids’ play area, and turf, among other amenities. Mr. Rajesh said stringent action was being taken against those dumping garbage in public spaces despite repeated awareness campaigns.
