“Some Storm In…”: KKR Breaks Silence On Rohit Sharma, Abhishek Nayar Deleted Viral Video

Posted on May 14, 2024 By admin

IPL 2024: Rohit Sharma and Abhishek Nayar having an intense chat© Twitter

Ahead of a recent IPL 2024 match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata, an interaction between ex-MI captain Rohit Sharma and KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nayar went viral. The video was reportedly deleted by KKR after it went viral, thus further fanning the speculation. Though there was plenty of background noise in the viral video, it didn’t take long for social media users to decipher what exactly was spoken between Rohit and Nayar on the eve of the KKR vs MI clash at Eden Gardens.

Yn the video, Rohit can be heard telling Nayar about ‘change’. At the end of the video, the former Mumbai Indians skipper also said that “it’s his last”. Though the context of the conversation isn’t known, fans suggested that the two could’ve talked about the current situation at Mumbai Indians, especially Hardik Pandya‘s appointment as skipper.

“Ek ek cheez change ho raha hai…Woh unke upar hai…Jo bhi hai woh mera ghar hai bhai, woh temple jo hai na maine banwaya hai(Everything is changing one by one… It’s on them… Whatever, but it’s my home brother, it’s the temple that I constructed).”

The last line that could be heard in the video was: “Bhai mera kya mera to ye last hai (brother, this is my last anyway)”.

Clear audio of Rohit Sharma and Abhishek Nayar’s conversation, he didn’t said that it’s his last IPL.

Now Kolkata Knight Riders CEO Venky Mysore has opened up on the issue. “I didn’t even know about it, some storm in a teacup I think. They have been good friends since God knows how long. Somebody has done something there just to create some mischief. I spoke to both of them, they were talking about something else. Some people just have too much time on their hands. That’s all I can say,” said Venky Mysore to RevSportz.
