Police personnel, along with additional forces, conducted a flag march in Narasaraopet town on Saturday as part of the security arrangements for the local body elections in Palnadu district.

The flag march was organised on the directions of Palnadu Superintendent of Police Jagadish Adahalli, under the supervision of Narasaraopet Additional Superintendent of Police M. Hanumantha Rao. The exercise aimed to maintain law and order, instil a sense of security among the public and ensure peaceful conduct of the elections.

The march began at First Gate near the Narasaraopet railway station and proceeded via the Revenue Divisional Officer’s office, Clock Tower, Mallamma Centre and Kota Centre.

The police urged everyone to strictly adhere to the Model Code of Conduct and refrain from activities that could disturb public peace and order.
