Visakhapatnam Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra on Friday inaugurated an exhibition of paintings made with millets by Meka Vijay Kumar at the YMCA, Beach Road, to mark World Food Day.

Mr. Bohra said using art for a social cause was commendable, and urged people to know and preserve their food heritage, adopt healthy living and include millets in their diet.

Mr. Vijay Kumar, a railway employee, said the 16 works, which took six months, trace the human journey with food, from forests and millets to agriculture, packaged food, fast-food culture and health problems. The exhibition will continue for three days.
