Teenagers Saishiva Sankaran of Pune and Visakhapatnam’s Bhuvan Bonu won the MRF Formula 2000 and Formula 1600 races respectively, in the second round of the MRF Indian National Racing Challenge 4W-2026 which commenced at the Madras International Circuit, here on Saturday.
It was the fourth consecutive victory of the season for the 18-year-old Saishiva while Bhuvan, just 16, notched up his third straight win, including the double in the first-round last month.
Earlier, Nellore’s Viswas Vijayaraj continued his unbeaten run this season by leading a podium sweep for DTS Racing in the Formula LGB 1300 Open class that boasted a grid of 24 cars.

Juniors (2 laps): 1. Kaveen Diyyan Rajapaksa (Momentum Motorsports) 04:02.111; 2. Pranav Ramasamy (Tiruppur, DTS Racing) 04:05.547; 3. Shatveer Shetty (Momentum Motorsports) 04:05.604.
Memorable: Saishiva drove to victory in the MRF F2000 race.
