Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday (August 31, 2026) would inaugurate the 400-metre-long, 14.5-metre-wide bridge over Musi river, connecting Amberpet and Moosarambagh.

Once operational, the bridge will provide relief to commuters travelling through Chanchalguda, Saidabad, Santosh Nagar, IS Sadan, Owaisi Hospital, Kanchan Bagh, Champapet and Sagar Road, as per an earlier press release from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. The bridge, constructed at an estimated cost of ¤52 crore, has 3.5 metres wide footpaths for movement of pedestrians.

The Corporation’s Commissioner R.V. Karnan has inspected the infrastructure project recently. On Sunday, he directed officials to complete the A4 up-ramp in a day and the A3 side ramp towards Champapet within two to three days, paving the way for its inauguration.

The Chief Minister, who is also Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister, would also unveil logos of Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and GHMC at a public programme in Amberpet.
