The Railways has regularised the services of the Jabalpur–Coimbatore Weekly Superfast Express.
Train No. 02198 Jabalpur–Coimbatore Weekly Superfast Express will run as Train No. 20160 with effect from October 23. The train will leave Jabalpur at 11.50 p.m. on Fridays and reach Coimbatore Junction at 2.30 p.m. on Sundays, according to a release from Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division.
Train No. 02197 Coimbatore–Jabalpur Weekly Superfast Express will run as Train No. 20159 with effect from October 26. It will leave Coimbatore Junction at 5.05 p.m. on Mondays to reach Jabalpur at 8.45 a.m. on Wednesdays.
The train will have one AC First Class, two AC 2-Tier, six AC 3-Tier, nine Second Class Sleeper, four General Second Class, and two Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van coaches.
Special train
The Railways will operate a special train between Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Thiruvananthapuram North to clear the festival rush.
Train No. 01463 Mumbai LTT–Thiruvananthapuram North Special will leave LTT at 4 p.m. on Sunday to reach Thiruvananthapuram North at 11.30 p.m. the next day.
The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Junction, Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Mookambika Road Byndoor (H), Kundapura, Udupi, Mangaluru Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayamkulam, Karunagapalli, Sasthankotta, Kollam Junction, and Varkala Sivagiri stations.
The service will feature three AC 2-Tier, four AC 3-Tier, 11 Second Class Sleeper, four General Second Class, and two Luggage-cum-Brake Van coaches, a release from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. said.
