Weekly special trains between Tirunelveli and Tambaram

Southern Railway will operate special trains between Tirunelveli and Tambaram to clear extra rush of passengers.

A statement said that Train No. 06070 Tirunelveli – Tambaram weekly superfast train will leave Tirunelveli at 11.35 p.m. on August 13, 20 and 27 (Thursdays) and reach Tambaram at 10.15 a.m. the next day.

In return direction, Train No. 06069 Tambaram – Tirunelveli weekly superfast train will leave Tambaram at 1.55 p.m. on August 14, 21 and 28 (Fridays) and reach Tirunelveli at 1 p.m. the next day.

The train would have one AC 2-tier coach, six AC 3-tier coaches, two AC 3-tier economy coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches, one second class coach (for differently-abled) and one-luggage-cum-brake van.

The train would stop at Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Kodai Road, Dindigul, Tiruchi, Srirangam, Ariyalur, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Melmaruvathur and Chengalpet.
