Chennai orthodontist qualifies as Diplomate of the European Board of Orthodontics

N. R. Krishnaswamy, a senior orthodontist from Chennai, has become the first orthodontist from India to qualify as a Diplomate of the European Board of Orthodontics (EBO), an advanced clinical certification awarded by the European Orthodontic Society.

The examination is considered as one of the most rigorous assessments in orthodontics. He completed the examination during the European Orthodontic Society Congress held in Dublin, Ireland.

A clinician with nearly four decades of experience, Dr. Krishnaswamy recently retired as Professor and Head of the Department of Orthodontics at Ragas Dental College and Hospital. He has also served as Chairman of the Indian Board of Orthodontics, a press release said.
