Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar has placed Jubilee Hills Station House Officer (SHO) U. Srinivasulu Reddy under suspension following allegations of serious misconduct involving a woman complainant.
The suspension follows a preliminary departmental inquiry into the allegations. Based on its findings, the Commissioner ordered the officer’s suspension and directed that a detailed departmental inquiry be conducted.
The inquiry is examining allegations that the inspector engaged in misconduct involving the woman who had approached the police station to lodge a complaint. The disciplinary proceedings are currently under way.
