The Tamil Nadu Students Youth Federation (TSYF) organised a rally demanding the permanent scrapping of NEET, from Pudupet to the Rajarathinam stadium on Sunday.

They carried placards demanding NEET ban, and wanted the Education Department to be handed over to the State government.

A large number of people took part in the rally, seeking action against the police officials involved in assaulting the protesters at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, and the withdrawal of the FIRs filed against the students. They also demanded that the National Testing Agency (NTA) be wound up as it had failed to curb paper leaks.
