The Nagarkurnool District Election Officer (DEO) dismissed reports claiming that Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was registered as a voter in Achampet Assembly constituency, describing the information as false and misleading.

In a clarification, Collector and District Election Officer of Nagarkurnool said there was no voter registration in the name of A. Revanth Reddy either in Achampet Assembly constituency or anywhere else in Nagarkurnool district as of July 14.

The DEO categorically stated that there was no case of double enrolment or dual voting involving the Chief Minister in Nagarkurnool district.
